I started volunteering with PBFL in late 2011. I signed on as a volunteer photographer for mostly selfish reasons – to get a chance at taking photos of some beautiful dogs that I have not been fortunate enough to own yet.
My love for these dogs (and PBFL) grew so fast that I soon found myself offering to take on the challenge of re-designing their website. It was a much bigger task than I had anticipated (spending hours upon hours of my free time on the project) but it was well worth all of the hard work that I put into it!
I now find myself involved with PBFL nearly every week – whether it’s out taking photos of dogs, updating the website, or promoting PBFL on and offline. We have such an amazing group of volunteers, fosters, and board members. I am very happy to be a part of it!
